Nina, Physical Therapist, DPT, joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2023. Nina also serves as the Clinic Director in our practice.
Nina specializes in treating all orthopedic conditions, including repetitive stress injuries to the knee and shoulder, joint replacements, fractures, and neurologic disorders leading to balance/proprioceptive deficits. Nina has special training in geriatric fall prevention and gait training for individuals with neurologic disorders and focuses on using exercise prescription and other techniques to normalize functional movement to return her patients to their pre-injury level of function.
Nina graduated from George Mason University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Biology and then continued her education at the University of Michigan, where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. In addition, Nina completed her Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business in 2024. Through her education and previous clinical practice, Nina brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of sports-related repetitive stress injuries, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle, total joint replacements, femeroacetabular impingement/hip labral tears, postural abnormalities, and low back pain. She has considerable experience working with neurologic conditions. In her free time, Nina enjoys spending time with her family/kids and baking amazing vegan cakes.
Nina currently practices out of the Aldie office.
