Theodora Loukopoulos, DPT

"Dori", Physical Therapist, DPT, joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2024.

Specialties

Specializes in treating all orthopedic conditions, including complex knee and shoulder injuries, joint replacements, fractures, and injuries to the spine and foot/ankle. She focuses on using exercise prescription and addressing abnormalities in patients' biomechanics to return her patients to their pre-injury level of function.

Education

Dori graduated from Marymount University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in August 2024, after completing her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Wesley College. Through her education and previous clinical practice, Dori brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of sports-related repetitive stress injuries, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle, total joint replacements, femeroacetabular impingement/hip labral tears, postural abnormalities, and low back pain.

Dori played collegiate softball for 4 years and currently serves as an assistant coach on the Marymount University coaching staff. In addition, she enjoys spending her free time hiking, thrift shopping, exploring new places/restaurants, and staying active playing pickleball.

Dori currently practices out of our Fairfax office.
