Elise Quinn, Physical Therapist, DPT, joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2023.
Specializes in treating all orthopaedic conditions including complex knee and shoulder injuries, joint replacements, fractures, and injuries to the spine and foot/ankle. Elise has special training in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic cases. geriatric fall prevention, and gait training for lower extremity amputees. She focuses on using exercise prescription and other techniques to normalize functional movement to return her patients to their pre-injury level of function.
Elise graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Health/Physical Activity and Exercise Science and then continued her education at Seton Hall University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Through her education and previous clinical practice, Elise brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of sports-related repetitive stress injuries, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle, total joint replacements, femeroacetabular impingement/hip labral tears, postural abnormalities, and low back pain. In addition, she has considerable experience working with neurologic conditions. Growing up Elise was a competitive basketball and tennis player; however, currently, she continues to enjoy resistance training and participating in Spartan races. In her free time, Elise enjoys spending time with family, watching Pittsburgh sports, and trying new restaurants. Elise currently practices out of the Fairfax office.
