Ashley is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and specializes in treating all orthopedic conditions. Ashley focuses on using manual therapy techniques with activity and exercise to return her patients to their pre-injury level of function and athletic performance, and help reduce the likelihood of reinjury.
Ashley graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in psychology. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University in May 2013. Ashley practiced for three years, over 2 of those years with Excel, before graduating from a post-doctorate Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program with Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. Upon returning from Northern California, she became Adjunct Faculty at Marymount University, and teaches in their DPT program. Through her years of employment and continuing education she brings experience with a wide-variety of post-operative conditions, simple and complex orthopedic conditions, and helping patients return-to sport incorporating manual therapy techniques. Ashley was a collegiate volleyball player and is fluent in Spanish.
She is currently part-time at our Fairfax office and spends the majority of her time at home with her two little kids.
