Rachel Herrmann, Physical Therapist (DPT), joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2019.
Specialties
Rachel specializes in treating all general orthopaedic conditions using personalized exercise prescription and manual techniques. She specifically treats injuries to the knee, foot, ankle, hip, shoulder, elbow and spine.
Education
Rachel graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012.
Through her education, clinical experience and employment history, Rachel brings knowledge and experience with musculoskeletal injuries, soft tissue massage, spinal/peripheral joint mobilizations, balance deficits and gait abnormalities, and sports related injuries. Rachel is certified in Functional Dry Needling.
Rachel was a dancer growing up with experience in tap, jazz, ballet/pointe, and modern dance which contributed to her interest in becoming a physical therapist. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, camping, baking/cookie and cake decorating, and spending time with her family and friends. Rachel regularly attends continuing education seminars in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and manual therapy techniques.
Rachel currently practices out of our Aldie office.
