Megan McCabe, DPT

Megan McCabe, Physical Therapist (DPT), joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2017.

Specialties

Megan specializes in treating all general orthopaedic conditions using personalized exercise prescription and manual techniques. She specifically treats injuries to the knee, foot/ankle, hip, shoulder, elbow and spine.

Education

Megan graduated from the University of Virginia in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2017.

Through her education and clinical rotations, Megan brings knowledge and experience with treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, soft tissue massage, spinal/peripheral joint mobilizations, balance deficits and gait abnormalities, pediatrics, sports related injuries, and treatment on neurologic disorders/diagnoses. Megan is certified in Functional Dry Needling.

Megan grew up in the area and played soccer at an elite level which resulted in her having to persevere through her own injuries.

She has recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and understands what it is like to be an athlete recovering from injury with the goal of returning to the field.

Megan currently practices out of our Fairfax office.
