Christine Loftus, DPT

Christine Loftus, Physical Therapist (DPT), joined Excel Rehabilitation in September 2019.

Specialties

Christine is certified in Dry Needling (Levels 1 and 2). She specializes in treating orthopedic and sports related injuries utilizing her knowledge of therapeutic exercise and manual therapy. She specifically treats complex knee and shoulder injuries, lower/upper extremity joint replacements, degenerative disc disease, and has experience working with pediatric patients including the treatment of torticollis.

Education

Christine graduated from Ithaca College in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Studies and a minor in Sports Studies. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2015.

Through her education and previous clinical practice, Christine brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of sports related repetitive stress injuries, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle, total joint replacements, femeroacetabular impingement/hip labral tears, postural abnormalities, and low back pain. In addition, she has experience working on orthopedic injuries in the pediatric population. Christine was a soccer player throughout her childhood and continued to play at the club level in college. She currently enjoys exercising and spending time with friends and family.

Christine currently practices out of our Fairfax office.
