Betina Pierce, DPT

Betina Pierce, Physical Therapist, DPT, joined Excel Rehabilitation in 2019.

Specialties

Specializes in treating all orthopaedic conditions including complex knee and shoulder injuries, joint replacements, fractures and injuries to the spine and foot/ankle. Special training in geriatric fall prevention, and gait training for lower extremity amputees. She focuses on using exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques to return her patients to their pre-injury level of function.

Education

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, she graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May 2015. Through her education and previous clinical practice, Betina brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of sports related repetitive stress injuries, ligamentous injuries of the knee and ankle, total joint replacements, femeroacetabular impingement/hip labral tears, postural abnormalities, and low back pain. In addition, she has considerable experience working with neurological conditions like Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and traumatic brain injuries. Currently she enjoys hot yoga, strength training and spending time outdoors with her family.

Betina currently practices out of the Aldie office.
