Taylor specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports related injuries utilizing his knowledge of therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and advanced manual therapy techniques. He specifically treats diagnoses including, but not limited to, complex knee and shoulder injuries, joint replacements, spinal dysfunction/pain, and other general orthopedic conditions.
Education
Taylor graduated from Shenandoah University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2018.
Through his advanced education and clinical rotations, Taylor brings knowledge and experience with the treatment of repetitive stress injuries to the upper and lower extremities, post operative care following sports related procedures (i.e. ACL reconstruction, labral repairs of the hip/shoulder, rotator cuff repairs, etc), lumbar spine pain, and cervical spine pain/postural abnormalities.
Taylor played football at Shenandoah University during his undergraduate tenure, as a wide receiver and tight end. As a result of this experience, Taylor understands the complexities of recovering from injury while remaining active and avoiding re-injury. Outside of practice he continues to be involved with and enjoys strength training and powerlifting; while, also spending time with his fiancé.
Taylor currently practices out of our Aldie location.
